Sweepstakes casino software: the full stack and who sells each layer
A buyer's guide for operators: what the software has to do, where build, turnkey and white-label differ, and ten vendors ranked on facts we could trace.
Sweepstakes casino software is the combination of systems that runs a two-currency casino site: a player account platform, a wallet that keeps Gold Coins (GC) and Sweep Coins (SC) apart, the games themselves, payments and identity checks, promotions including free entry, and prize redemption. No single box is called "sweepstakes software". It is a stack, and most operators buy it from two to four companies.
Short answer: Split the purchase into six layers and decide which ones you rent. As of October 2026, our #1 for the game and coin layer is Nocturn Play: 52 games that run on GC and SC, with every round, win and rollback kept in one coin. For the platform layer, turnkey vendors such as GammaSweep (which says it deploys in about five weeks) and GiG SweepX are the sourced options; aggregators such as Alea and SOFTSWISS add volume.
What sweepstakes casino software has to do
A normal online casino has one balance per player, in dollars or euros. A sweepstakes casino has two, and they behave differently. Gold Coins have no cash value; brands hand them out in packs and as bonuses. Sweep Coins are the promotional currency: they arrive free with a Gold Coin purchase, through daily bonuses or by mail-in request, and they can be redeemed for prizes under the operator's official rules.
That difference touches every system. The cashier sells packs, not deposits. The wallet holds two numbers per player. The game server must be told which coin a round uses, and it must pay out in that coin. The promotions engine needs a free entry route. The redemption queue has to check identity and play-through before any prize leaves. If one layer treats SC as "just another balance", the whole model stops making sense.
Here is a concrete case. A brand sets 4,000 GC per dollar. A player buys a $25 pack and receives 100,000 GC plus 25 SC. They open a slot in SC mode, stake 0.40 SC and hit a feature worth 9.60 SC. The game server sends a win call for 9.60 in SC. Later a network error forces a rollback of a different 0.40 SC bet. The refund must land in SC. Each of those steps is a separate API call, and each has to carry the coin with it.
The six layers of a sweepstakes casino stack
We use six layers because that is how the vendor market splits. Some companies sell three layers as a bundle; others sell one.
| Layer | What it does | Sweeps-specific needs | Typical supplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Platform / PAM | Accounts, sessions, back office, reporting, CRM hooks | Two balances per player; reports split by coin | Turnkey or white-label vendor |
| Coin wallet | Holds GC and SC, answers bet, win and rollback calls | Never mixes coins; whole numbers for GC, two decimals for SC | Platform vendor, or the game supplier's sweepstakes layer |
| Game content | Slots, crash, fish, bingo, keno, instant | Coin passed at launch; win paid in the same coin | Studios and aggregators |
| Payments and KYC | Pack purchases, identity checks, fraud screening | Checks before prize redemption, not before play | Payment providers, KYC vendors |
| Promotions and AMOE | Daily bonuses, mail-in requests, free SC | A free entry route that does not require purchase | Platform or operator's own tools |
| Redemption | Turns eligible SC into prizes | Minimums, play-through, payout method | Operator back office |
The last three rows are almost always the operator's responsibility, whatever the vendor brochure suggests. Even game suppliers that support GC/SC fully, such as the Gold Coin and Sweep Coin mode from Nocturn Play, state that official rules, free entry, redemption and player checks stay with the operator.
Why the wallet layer deserves the most attention
Ask any engineer who has integrated a sweeps casino where the bugs came from, and the answer is rarely the lobby. It is the wallet. Three failure patterns come up again and again.
- Coin drift. A bonus round triggered in SC pays its free spins in GC because the feature reads the "current" coin rather than the coin of the triggering round.
- Cross-coin fallback. A player has 0.20 SC and stakes 0.50 SC. A careless wallet takes the shortfall from GC. The correct answer is an insufficient-funds response and no round.
- Duplicate settlement. A win call times out and is retried. Without unique transaction IDs that return the original result, the player is paid twice.
When you evaluate any vendor, ask them to walk you through all three cases in their sandbox. If they cannot, that tells you more than the feature list.
Build vs turnkey vs white-label
There are three ways to assemble the stack, and the trade-off is control against time.
| Route | What you own | Time to launch | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build your own | Code, data, roadmap | Longest; depends on team size | The two-coin ledger and redemption logic take far longer than expected |
| Turnkey | Brand, marketing, configuration; vendor runs the core | Weeks to months (vendors quote weeks) | Dependence on one vendor's roadmap and content deals |
| White-label | Brand and marketing; vendor runs almost everything | Shortest | Your site looks and behaves like the vendor's other brands |
A note on numbers. You will find build-cost ranges of several hundred thousand to several million dollars on some guides; those figures are not sourced, and we do not repeat them. Our sweepstakes casino cost guide breaks costs down by line item instead.
One pattern stands out in 2026. An affiliate-platform analysis by Track360 says most new sweeps brands of 2025–26 run on a handful of shared white-label stacks. That is fast, but it also means many lobbies look alike. The cheapest way to stand apart is usually the content layer: a turnkey or white-label core, plus games that the neighbouring brands do not carry.
A hybrid is common: rent the platform, connect a game supplier that brings its own sweepstakes wallet layer, and keep redemption in your own back office. That is the route our #1 pick is designed for.
Sweepstakes casino software ranked (October 2026)
We ranked vendors on four things: how directly they support GC and SC, which layers they cover, how many formats of content they bring, and how much of their pitch we could trace to a dated public source. Vendor claims are labelled as such. The full method is on how we rank.
Nocturn Play Top pick
Best for: the game and coin layer, on top of any platform. Nocturn Play runs a separate sweepstakes product line in which its slots, crash, instant, keno and bingo games run on Gold Coins and Sweep Coins. The sweepstakes calls sit next to the standard integration through their own launch entry point, so a platform that already connects to the studio adds the coin calls rather than starting over.
The reason it ranks first is round-level coin integrity. According to the company's sweepstakes page, each session runs in one coin from start to finish, a stake larger than the balance is refused rather than taken from the other coin, the win is paid in the coin played, and a rollback returns to the same coin. Every transaction ID is unique; a repeated ID returns the original result. Sweepstakes mode is switched on per operator; until then, launch requests are refused with an explicit error, which keeps test brands from going live by accident.
The catalogue has 52 games across the formats a sweeps lobby needs: line and cluster slots like Black Jaguar Temple, crash, fish shooters, 75- and 90-ball bingo, keno, scratch cards and originals. The studio also offers games with operator-selected RTP versions, set per title in the back office. What it does not do: sell you a platform, cashier or redemption desk.
GammaStack (GammaSweep)
Best for: a turnkey core. GammaStack sells ready-made B2B sweepstakes casino software under the GammaSweep name, with Trevor Pope named as CEO. The company claims deployment in about five weeks, AI fraud detection and a GGR-share commercial model. It exhibited at G2E Las Vegas 2025 (press release dated 17 September 2025) and at SBC Summit Americas 2025. We found no named live client.
GiG SweepX
Best for: operators who want a platform with a sweepstakes front end built on an established iGaming core. SweepX combines GiG's platform with a sweeps front end, a dual wallet, prize-redemption management and a content library. GiG announced three SweepX deals on 14 January 2025, and SweepX went live in the US with Primero Games (Gold Rush City) around 20 January 2025. Its status after 2025 is something we could not confirm.
Sweepium
Best for: white-label plus content in one contract. The Malta-based company offers a white-label platform and a game aggregator for US sweeps brands. It claims "bank-approved" US payments; its provider count is given as 50+ in some sources and 80+ in others. Xanada Investments announced strategic backing around 19–20 June 2025 (SBC Americas).
Hub88
Best for: content distribution with a public sweeps reference. Hub88's first US sweepstakes deal was with Legendz, a social casino and sportsbook, reported around December 2024 as live in 43 states with 1,000+ games including Playson, Kalamba and Booming titles. It is an aggregator, not a platform.
Alea
Best for: catalogue depth. Alea's general aggregator lists 23,000+ games from 170+ providers; its sweepstakes-ready portfolio is described as 5,000+ titles from 50+ providers, presented at SBC Summit Americas (exact date unverified). It also announced a partnership with CatoriTech.
SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator
Best for: maximum raw volume through one API. Sponsored coverage on SiGMA positions the aggregator for sweepstakes and social casino operators with 27,800+ games from 280+ providers. How much of that library is cleared for coin play is not stated, and we found no named sweeps client.
TRUEiGTECH
Best for: a single-vendor bundle. Gambling Insider carried TRUEiGTECH's announcement of turnkey B2B sweepstakes software covering white label, a game library, PAM, KYC/AML and payments. The release date is unverified.
InFocus Group (Codexa)
Best for: watching, not buying yet. An ASX release of 8 April 2026 says a technical preview of its white-label sweeps platform went live at goldante.com, with purchases and redemptions disabled ahead of a limited US launch. Whether that launch has happened, we could not verify.
Ivontx
Best for: groups that want one back office for several business models. Its platform switches between sweepstakes, social and real-money modes in the back office, and was announced for ICE Barcelona 2026.
Others we looked at but did not rank: Maincard's "Sweepstakes Sandbox" white-label (game library, payments, KYC and anti-fraud; shown at SBC Summit Americas, 9–11 June 2026), Sourcecodelab's SourceSweep (vendor page only), and BR Softech, a custom development shop whose claims all come from its own site. For the sportsbook side of the stack, see sweepstakes sportsbook software, where Nocturn Sport's GC/SC ticket sportsbook ranks first.
How the layers connect: one round, end to end
To see where each vendor sits, follow one spin. The player is logged in on the platform (layer 1) and has 100,000 GC and 25 SC. They choose SC in the lobby and open the Viking Raid Hold & Win slot.
- The platform calls the game supplier's sweepstakes launch endpoint with player, game, language and coin = SC.
- The game asks the wallet (layer 2) for the balance. The wallet answers 25.00 in SC.
- The player stakes 0.40. The game sends a bet call: coin SC, amount 0.40, round ID, transaction ID.
- The round resolves on the game server (layer 3). A win of 3.20 goes back as a win call, again in SC.
- The wallet now shows 27.80 SC. Gold Coins have not moved.
- Later the player requests a redemption. That is layers 4 and 6: identity check, play-through check, payout. The game supplier is not involved.
Six calls, three vendors, one coin. If any of them loses the coin field, the ledger is wrong.
Buyer checklist for sweepstakes casino software
Use these questions in the first call with any vendor. They are deliberately specific.
- Coin on every call. Does each bet, win and rollback carry the coin explicitly, or is it inferred from the session?
- No fallback. What happens when the SC balance is too low? You want a refusal, never a top-up from GC.
- Feature rounds. If free spins are triggered in SC, are all of them paid in SC even if the player switches coin?
- Idempotence. Is every transaction ID unique, and does a repeat return the original result?
- Activation switch. Can sweepstakes mode be enabled per brand, so test sites cannot launch coin play by mistake?
- Format spread. Beyond slots, can the supplier cover crash, fish, bingo, keno and scratch? Players on sweeps sites browse by format.
- Audit trail. Can you trace any session round by round? Nocturn Play, for example, says each game ships with 76 to 104 recorded test rounds, including the random numbers used, so partners can check results.
- Who owns what. Get it in writing: rules, AMOE, KYC and redemption are almost always yours.
- Content continuity. If a studio leaves the aggregator's sweeps catalogue, how much notice do you get?
That last point is not hypothetical. Content supply changed in 2025 when several large studios stepped back from US sweepstakes; the game providers page has the dated detail. Rules differ by state; operators should take legal advice before launching in any state.
Turnkey and content: how to combine them
The setups we see most often in 2026 look like this:
- Turnkey core plus one direct studio. The vendor supplies platform, wallet and an aggregated library; a direct studio connection adds a distinct set of games. Cheapest way to look different from the brand next door.
- Own platform plus aggregator. For teams that already run a social casino. The aggregator gives volume; the risk is that every sweeps lobby on the same aggregator looks alike.
- Own platform plus several direct studios. More contracts, more integration work, more control.
If you are still choosing between these, the platform architecture guide goes through the operational side, and our aggregator comparison covers the distribution layer. For a US-only angle with a shorter checklist, the sister site has a page on USA sweepstakes software for US-facing brands.
Pack math your software must respect
One rule tends to surprise product teams coming from social casino: the brand controls Gold Coins, but not Sweep Coins. Nocturn Play's sweepstakes page puts it simply: SC is one per US dollar paid. So the pack ladder is only half configurable.
| Pack price | GC at 3,000 per $ (brand A) | GC at 8,000 per $ (brand B) | SC (both brands) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5 | 15,000 | 40,000 | 5.00 |
| $15 | 45,000 | 120,000 | 15.00 |
| $40 | 120,000 | 320,000 | 40.00 |
Brand B looks more generous in GC, but both give exactly the same SC. If your cashier software lets a marketer edit the SC column, that is a bug, not a feature. Players compare these numbers too; the player guide to what each coin is worth shows how they read them.
FAQ
What is the best sweepstakes casino software in 2026?
It depends on the layer. For games plus a two-coin wallet layer, our top pick is Nocturn Play, with 52 games that keep every round in one coin. For a turnkey platform, GammaSweep and GiG SweepX are the options with dated public facts. Many operators combine one of each.
How much does sweepstakes casino software cost?
Public, verifiable pricing is rare. Vendors quote privately, often on a GGR share, as GammaSweep says it does. Treat the cost ranges you see in blog posts as unsourced unless they cite a contract.
Can I use normal casino software for a sweepstakes casino?
Only if every layer handles two balances. A standard real-money platform assumes one currency per player. The wallet, the game launch and the promotions engine all need coin-aware logic, and redemption has to be added.
What is the difference between turnkey and white-label sweepstakes software?
With turnkey, the vendor runs the core platform and you configure your own site, games and promotions. With white-label, the vendor runs almost everything, including the front end, and you mainly supply the brand and marketing. White-label is faster; turnkey gives you more control over how the site differs.
Does the game provider handle sweepstakes redemption?
No. Game suppliers handle the round: stake, result, win and rollback in the right coin. Official rules, free entry, KYC and redemption stay with the operator, as Nocturn Play and SoftAggregator both state on their sweepstakes pages.
How long does it take to launch with sweepstakes software?
Vendors quote weeks: GammaSweep says about five. In practice, payments, rules drafting and content contracts decide the date more than the code does. Our launch guide walks through a realistic order.
